Notice is hereby given that AMERICAN BITUMINOUS POWER PARTNERS, L.P. LIMITED PARTNERSHIP,
P. O. BOX 159, 228 ABPP DRIVE, GRANT TOWN, WV 26574 has submitted an application with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), 47 School Street, Suite 301, Philippi, WV 26416-1600 for a Phase 2 and 3 release on Permit Number S200904 Increment Number 4 issued for 26.64 acres.
The permit is located in Fairmont District of Marion County, 0.5 miles northwest of Barrackville on an unnamed tributary of Moody Run (Primary Receiving Stream) of Buffalo Creek (Secondary Receiving Stream) of Monongahela River (Major Drain Basin).
AMERICAN BITUMINOUS POWER PARTNERS, L.P. LIMITED PARTNE completed final reclamation on 10/4/2019 and is requesting release of 100 percent of the reclamation performance bond currently in the amount of $14,848.00.
Written comments will be received at the DEP address above until October 26, 2025, or thirty (30) days from date of final publication.
